A streamlined, timeless exterior design combined with chine lines give the hull a clean entry and excellent spray deflection.

Horizon 62

A world class motoryacht with superyacht parentage, the recently arrived Horizon Elegance 62 combines superb engineering with state-of-the-art manufacturing.

The hull is fabricated using the SCRIMP process, a vacuum bag resin infusion process that optimises fiberglass-to-resin ratios. The 62's bottom is solid fiberglass.

The Horizon 62 provides plenty of space to lounge and entertain on the huge flybridge or the oversized sunpad on her bow. The master stateroom features an island queen-size platform bed en-suite bathroom and plenty of storage. The guest stateroom forward has a queen island berth and private access to the second head. A generous 17'4" beam allows for a remarkably large main salon with a choice of finishes. A unique full height transom door gives easy engine room access, while plenty of headroom simplifies maintenance and service. The aft quarters finished to the same high quality as the guest quarters offer storage area, utility, and extra living space.

Horizon 62A streamlined, timeless exterior design combined with chine lines give the hull a clean entry and excellent spray deflection. Powered by twin Caterpillar 1,015hp turbo diesels, this motor yacht will cruise comfortably at 10-20 knots and top out at 26 knots. At 10 knots, the 4,000 litre fuel capacity gives it a range in excess of 800 nautical miles.

The Horizon 62 exhibits many of the refinements of a superyacht. Top quality workmanship and engineering excellence are evident throughout. The full height engine room is a fine example of Horizon's commitment to excellence, while the Gelcoat finish, heavy duty rubber matting, stainless steel risers, exhausts, shafts and water tight hatches all point to superb build quality.

Wide walk-around non slip decks with high gunwales and full length stainless steel rails provide maximum safety topside. Fender lockers, stainless steel fairlead runners, a massive chain locker with powerful Maxwell windlass, stainless steel anchor and channel and fresh water deck wash constitute the practical foredeck features, while the large sun lounge completes the picture.

Horizon 62The aft cockpit with teak deck and protected from the elements by the flybridge overhang is perfect for onboard entertaining or outdoor dining and the enormous swim platform with removable stainless steel rails mean swimming, and water sports are effortless.

The flybridge helm is beautifully equipped with full navigational systems including a 64 mile open scan radar and auto pilot. The layout of instruments and controls is uncluttered and sensibly arranged. Walnut panels give character to the dash, while the imposing stainless steel steering wheel is responsive yet offers good feel for manoeuvring. Caterpillar instrumentation, including full engine diagnostics, integrates beautifully with the electronic throttle controls for seamless operation.

Horizon 62The saloon is open, spacious and conventionally furnished with a large lounge to port, entertainment centre with 42 inch pop up flat screen TV to starboard and a raised forward dinette and galley. Overhead is an impressive ceiling centre piece of mirrors and down lights, surrounded by an oval timber panel. Strategically placed Bose speakers mounted overhead create a surround sound using the DVD recorder and digital set top box.

Moving forward, the remainder of the guest accommodation is of a conventional design. A portside cabin features single upper and lower beds, wardrobe, wall mounted TV and entertainment system, as well as separate climate control. The twin cabin is by no means small and features items such as a bedside table to enhance its liveability.

The forward VIP cabin features a massive apartment style bed which has adopted the curved lines of the bow. Mirrors wrapped around the bed head are illuminated with framed oriental style light cabinets. There is ample storage with full height wardrobe plus additional storage under the bed. The cabin also has its own climate control, entertainment system with flat screen TV and a secondary access door to the bathroom.

The Horizon 62 Motor Yacht was designed and built to go beyond the Horizon and fulfil dreams of a lifetime. The new Horizon 62 is equipped for the challenge and is more than capable of delivering memories that will last a lifetime.
