The P50 currently heads the Prestige range of motoryachts and features an innovative layout, which offers three cabins and three heads, as well as a separate crew cabin and head aft.

The interior layout is geared towards maximum comfort, including a spacious interior with a separate saloon and dining area, and a well-laid out flybridge. These are the hallmarks of a good cruising boat.

There’s an en-suite bathroom for every cabin, as well as generous living spaces. We believe that the Prestige 50 Flybridge is the only motor yacht on the market to offer this layout.

 

By adopting a layout very similar to that of the Prestige 50S2 (the company’s sleek, open sports yacht), the boat offers a central owner’s cabin, which is a rare feature in a 50-footer. The two single berths in the starboard cabin can be converted into a double berth with bathroom access; another key point allowing flexibility for the owner or charter operator.

The large saloon with its huge U-shaped sofa and face-to-face seating, accesses the cockpit via a wide glass door, and offers direct entrance to the dining area and bar. The raised dining area has good sea views, and doubles as a very comfortable bench seat, when underway.

Set between the saloon and the dining area, the comprehensively-equipped bar unit (with concealed basin and fridge) has become an essential onboard convenience, while the comfortable, ergonomically-designed driving position boasts an instrument panel of truly contemporary design. Extensive glazing means that all these areas have good views and plenty of natural light.

The spacious, well-sheltered sundeck on the flybridge connects directly to the driving position, which is centrally positioned on the flybridge with a bench-seat configuration − according to Jeanneau the most comfortable arrangement; all command functions are contained within a single console.

The central flybridge galley backs onto this bench seat, and its fittings (sink, grill and storage) are concealed within the unit. The chiller, also concealed, is within easy reach.

Jeanneau have created an attractive package with the Prestige 50, and the up-coming Prestige 58 promises to take this innovative range even further.
