• Old Phuket Festival
28 - 30 January @ The Heart of Phuket Town
This year’s event will be the 13th anniversary of the popular Old Phuket Town Festival which is held in collaboration with the Chinese New Year. The festival is held at the heart of the Old Town on Thalang, Krabi, and Phuket Roads and along the famous Soi Rommanee. Thalang Road and Soi Rommanee will be converted into walking streets during the festival. Expect many colourful entertainment options including a Phuket Baba Light Show, a rickshaw tour around the streets, cultural parades, Chinese opera performances, Chinese folk dancing troupes and more. The activities start from about 3pm and last until midnight each day. If coming by car, please make sure to park away from the centre as things get extremely congested, traffic wise.

• Phuket Classical Music Concert
30 January @ Mom Tri's Villa Royale
His Excellency Admiral ML Usni Pramoj, a Privy Councillor who is also an accomplished conductor, composer and violinist, performs at Mom Tri’s Villa Royale. The cocktail reception is from 6pm and the concert is at 7. Tickets are 500 baht.

• The Bay Regatta
1 - 5 February @ Phuket, Phang Nga, Krabi
The Bay Regatta (formerly Phang Nga Bay Regatta) sails through Phuket, Phang Nga and Krabi showcasing some of the most stunning maritime scenery in the world. Now in its 15th running and organized by Ao Chalong Yacth Club (ACYC), this popular regatta sees 40 to 50 yachts in attendance.

• Wahoo Thailand 2012 Sport Fishing Tournament
2 - 4 February @ Similan Islands
Organized by the Rawai Beach Fishing Club, this three-day tournament takes people who represent countries from around the world to the Similan Islands. There is 3,000,000 Baht (100,000 USD) in prize money.

• Chateau Cos d'Estournel Gourmet Dinner

• PCF Charity Day & Great Phuket Rubber Duck Race
5 February @ Latitude, Laguna Phuket
The third Great Phuket Rubber Duck Race is back with a launch of 2,000 ducks! It's a day for the whole family with dragon boat races as well as kayak, raft and cardboard box races and much, much more. All money raised goes to the Phuket Community Foundation. • Andaman Pearl: The First Step of Love
14 - 29 February @ Cape Phromthep
The event sees the mass wedding of 208 couples in an effort to break the national record for the biggest mass wedding and of course, express their eternal love at the most favoured place to see sunset on the island, Cape Phromthep.

• A Starlight Soiree
16 February @ British International School
Don't miss a one night performance by international opera star Julie-Anne Hunter, a gifted professional soprano! The event, which will take place at Bristish International School's outdoor amphitheatre, will support the Phuket Has Been Good to Us. The foundation supports the teaching of English to over 850 Thai students in government schools.

• Basketball Skills Camp at BIS
18 - 19 February @ British International School, Phuket
Offered the first weekend of the February mid-term break, the camp is a great way to hone in kids' basketball playing skills. It will be run by former LA Lakers star Ike Nwankwo and his Top Flight Basketball Academy. The top current professional players from the Thai National Team will be there to work with participants. The price is 3,500 baht for two days.

• Phuket International Blues Rock Festival
23 -26 February @ Laguna, Phuket
The headliner in the seventh running is Grammy and Country Music Awards winner American chris Thomas King. Returning to the Phuket Blues scene is Rich Harper (USA), AkashA (Malaysia), John Meyer's Blues Express (Australia) and Irish Girl Rocker Grainne Duffy comes for the first time.

• Phuket Punchline Comedy Club
29 February @ Holiday Inn Resort, Patong Beach
The live stage show of the original British TV hit, 'Whose Line Is It Anyway?' sees four of the show's stars - Andy Smart, Stephen Frost, Steve Steen and Ian Coppinger - recreating scenarios in a style and setting of their choice. The whole show is totally improvised with the audience deciding what the performers say and sing about!
