• AFL Leagues
2 September @ PIA Sports & Leisure Club
The Adult Futsal League (AFL) Season 5 for age over 18 kicks off every Thursday on a 50 x 30 metre floodlit Limonta ’Soccer Pro’ FIFA-approved astro turf soccer field. The price is 700 Baht per team.

• RipCurl Grom Search
4 September @ Kata Beach
An event focused on Phuket's youth, RipCurl Grom Search are three one-day educational sessions and contests. The programme includes: a beach clean-up and ocean awareness program with Phuket water safety specialist Steven A. Martin; Soft boards supplied by Nautilus Surf Shop for the free surf clinic; a surf contest for boys and girls of varying divisions with a variety of awards and prizes for participants; and a sunset BBQ beach party and fire turning show to finish the day off.

• Phuket-Times.Com Amateur Golf Open
5 September @ Blue Canyon Country Club
The third round of the Amateur Golf Open will see the top two places in each flight join the 12 qualifiers from the previous rounds in the season-ending Master's event to be held in May 2011. The tournament uses a singles Stableford scoring system over 18 holes. Game time is from 12 to 3pm.

• Floyd's Final Farewell
5 September @ Floyd's Brasserie, Burasari Resort
Floyd's Brasserie is closing September 5th and will celebrate with a special 'last-ever Floyd's Sunday Brunch' from 12 noon to 4pm. • Phuket Lifesaving Carnival
11 September @ Loma Park, Patong Beach
The third Surf Lifesaving Carnival offers a range of activities and events with both local international participants expected to attend. All age groups are encouraged to join the food - there will be categories available from under-15s to over-50s. The carnival is organised by The Phuket Lifeguard Club, a non-profit organization established in 2003 that conducts regular training programs for local adults and children in water safety, rescue, first aid and beach management skills.
